Women's Basketball Slated at Second in CACC Preseason Poll
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball looks to continue their success at second in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, announced by the conference office this afternoon.
The Rams come into the year off a 24-8 record that saw Jefferson win 15 in a row to appear in their ninth CACC title game in the last 10 seasons. The Rams went to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, their seventh consecutive trip to the Tournament. Head coach
Tom Shirley enters his 36th season looking to get the team back in the conference and national tournament once again.
Jefferson starts their season at Rockville Centre, N.Y. on November 15th and 16th as they take on Queen's College on Saturday and Molloy University on Sunday in the East Region Challenge. The Rams home opener is set for Wednesday, November 19th in the Gallagher Center against East Stroudsburg University.
