NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University men's golf freshman Ethan Turner, who had an outstanding time at the Rams Fall Invitational, takes his first weekly award in his career as he was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for competition that ran through September 24-30.

Turner secures his first weekly award while giving the Rams their second winner this season. Turner scored a 74 on the day, having a +4 related to par. He recorded a birdie throughout the event, helping the Rams score their best single round of golf in school history. Turner was also the highest placing freshman on the day.

Turner will look to be a part of Jefferson next week when the Rams go to White Clay Creek Country Club to compete in the CACC Championships from Sunday, October 5 to Sunday, September 7.
