Men's Cross Country Finishes in First at Cross Classic 

PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's cross country team began their season off the right off, taking first place in the Philadelphia Cross Classic at Belmont Plateau this Saturday morning. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• Freshman runner Shernel Singh led Jefferson with a fourth place finish, earning a 29:06.3 time. Chase Watson (29:06.6) finished just behind his teammate at fifth place. Shernan Singh joined his brother at sixth place 

• Mason Moore rounded out the top-10 finishes for Jefferson, taking 10th place 

• Colin Walsh (18th), Ryan Kopervos (21st), Spencer Sabo (26th), Justin Shirey (30th), Jared Beaudoin (35th), and Nathan Yackenchick (47th) round out the Rams runners
