Men's Tennis Edges Out Chesnut Hill in Close CACC Matchup 

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team (6-4, 1-0) began their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup against Chestnut Hill College (5-2, 1-1). The match came down to a 3-3 tie with the first singles match deciding the victory, with Hannibal Borg taking the third set with a 6-2 win and giving Jefferson the 4-3 victory over Chestnut Hill. 

WHAT HAPPENED 
The Griffins took the doubles point as they won the first and second match to earn the lead over Jefferson after the Rams went ahead from Jules Thibault and Antonio Mateos Melenchon victory in the third doubles match.

The Rams took the lead after taking the fourth and sixth singles spots by Enrique Solo Ballestar and Johary Rabetrano. The Griffins went ahead 3-2 from the fifth and second positions, but Mario Antoni helped Jefferson by winning in three sets to tie the match at 3-3. Borg then headed into the third set from a close second set, but was able to take the 6-2 win and secure the CACC victory for the Rams.
