Women's Tennis Gets 7-0 Victory Against West Chester
 
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University (3-4) had their second match in three days as they went against West Chester University (0-2) in non-conference action. The Rams got forfeit wins in a double and single spots while taking the rest of the matches, defeating the Golden Rams 7-0 in Thursday afternoon competition.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
  • After a default victory in the third doubles spot, Jefferson won their matches in the first and second positions 6-1 each. Emily Frost and Zenia Barretto earned their doubles victory on the day.
  • Nicole Hrbkova, Alycia Veroux, and Barretto earned wins in their doubles spot while also taking singles victories alongside Anna Morgillo and Rose Huang
  • Veroux went to three sets against West Chester's Delaney Tingle, dropping the first set 6-1. After a rebounding 6-3 second set, Veroux earned the third set win 11-9
  • The rest of the Rams won their contests in two sets, with the closest sets coming in 6-3
