Men's Cross Country Gets Third in CACC Championships; Earns Two All-Conference Runners
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's cross country competed in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships this Saturday. The Rams were able to take a third-place finish on the race as they earned 80 points on the event.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Rams started off the race strong with their runners close in the pact.
- After a bit, the runners began to pick their pace up. Chase Watson (27:59.10) and Shernan Singh (28:37.01) finished 9th and 14th respectively. This helped both of them earn CACC All- Conference Top-15 runners.
- Shernel Singh falls right out of the top-15 as he ran a 28:50.15, giving him 16th on the day. Mason Moore followed behind at 19th for a 29:15.22 time.
- Jared Beaudoin (29:38.01), Colin Walsh (29:47.07), and Ryan Kopervos (30:28.63) rounded out the Rams runners.
- Jefferson was one of three teams during the race that scored less than 100 points in the Championship race
- The Rams were the only team in the race that had all seven runners finish in the top-30
