Men's and Women's Cross Country Finish Day at Haverford Invitational

HAVERFORD, PA – Thomas Jefferson University men's and women's cross country team had three competitors each compete in the Haverford Invitational on Friday evening competition. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• Oriah Diebold led the Rams in the women's 5k race with a 22:07.9 time, placing 40th in the race. 

• Jennifer Tran (22:39.1) and Nina Ceccanecchio (23:40.3) finished 44th and 51st in the race respectively. 

• Spencer Sabo was the lead for the men's team in the 4 mile race, placing 41st with a 23:39.6 time 

• Justin Shirey (24:38.6) and Nathan Yackenchick (24:50.8) rounded out the Jefferson runners

UP NEXT 
The Rams will now prepare as they host the CACC Cross Country Championships this Sunday, October 27 at Belmont Plateau. The men's race begins at 9 a.m. followed by the women's race as it starts at 10 a.m.
