Women's Soccer Claims a 3-0 Victory Over Goldey-Beacom College  
 

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer (11-1-2) (8-0) competed against Goldey-Beacom College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action on Wednesday, October 23. The Rams finished victorious with a 3-0 victory over the Lighting  

WHAT HAPPENED 

• The Rams kick off the half with a shot from Helina Macchia that gets blocked by the Lighting  

• Continuing with their aggressive offense Alexa Callahan takes a crossbar shot, followed by another shot from Gianna Garozzo 

• Goldey-Beacom makes two substitutions in the 24:28 minute hoping to create more opportunities for success  

• Jefferson continues to fight claiming their first goal by Callahan, assisted by Kyra Lesko and Mia Ferrara  

• The Rams show no sign of stopping with Lesko and Ferrara both putting up crossbar shots  

• The first half ends with another low center shot on goal from Evelin Garcia-Ventura that's saved by leaving the Rams ahead 1-0  

• Garozzo shows no signs of stopping after stealing a ball from the defender within the first 5 minutes of the second half, and claiming the Rams second goal of the match  

• Nikki Dedes quickly joins the action and makes the Rams third goal of the match after a header into top left of the net, assisted by Macchia 

• Goldey-Beacom looking for their first goal puts up a shot from Angela Lee, but Liv Riddel is ready for the save  

• Laken Merchant looks to continue the Rams success with a shot that's missed to the right  

• Anna Carpenter joins the action towards the end of the half with a high center shot that Nikki Cashin saves for the Lighting  

• The second half after Jefferson played an impressive match to secure the 3-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom

• The team overall has an 18 consecutive match unbeaten conference record, the school record is 19
