Men's Cross Country Takes Second in Jack Saint Clair Memorial Race; Highest Collegiate Team to Finish


PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's cross country hosted the Jack Saint Clair Memorial race this Saturday afternoon. The Rams ended the day taking second out of 10 teams, but were the highest finishing collegiate team in the race. Jefferson had 56 points on the day. The Rams trailed Philadelphia Runner Track Club on the day as they earned 20 points through the race.

WHAT HAPPENED 

  • Shernan Singh and Shernel Singh led Jefferson with 10th and 11th place finishes respectively, being the highest collegiate cross country runners to finish the event. Sherna. Singh had a 29:39.3 time while Sherne. Singh ran 29:56.0 on the day 

  • Chase Watson was third for Jefferson as he ran a 30:26.3, putting him at 14th in the competition 

  • Mason Moore (30:47.5) and Colin Walsh (30:58.4) rounded out the Rams top-five with 17th and 19th place finishes respectively

UP NEXT 
Jefferson will get some of their runners one last chance to compete before the CACC Championships as the Rams take a week off before returning to Haverford, Pa. to compete in the Haverford Open on Friday, October 25. The men's race begins at 5 p.m.
