PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University softball team (9-11, 4-4 CACC) dropped a pair of conference games to Caldwell (15-8, 8-1 CACC) at home on Sunday afternoon.
GAME ONE – L, 7-0
The Rams were limited to three hits and the Cougars scored all seven of their runs in the fourth inning. The first six Caldwell hitters reached base in the frame and the Cougars recorded five hits overall during the rally.

GAME TWO – L, 4-1
Jefferson opened the scoring in the nightcap with a run in the second inning.
Annalise Pudimott came home on a throwing error to put the Rams ahead 1-0. Caldwell countered with three runs in the third, registering three hits and capitalizing on a pair of Jefferson errors to take a 3-1 advantage. After scoring in the second, the Rams managed just three baserunners the rest of the way and the Cougars added an insurance run in the sixth.
