PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team (11-4, 3-0 CACC) defeated visiting Chestnut Hill (7-5, 1-2 CACC) by a 6-1 score on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hannibal Borg and
Mario Antonio made quick work of their opponents at third doubles, winning 6-0. The Griffins earned the win at first doubles, bringing the doubles point down to the second position. German Lopez Andujar and
Hubert Theriault came through for the Rams, taking a 6-3 decision to put Jefferson ahead 1-0 in the match. The Rams then took five of the six singles matches to cruise to the victory.
