JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse team (3-5, 2-0 CACC) scored 12 goals in the opening quarter and went on to shut out Alliance (0-8, 0-2 CACC), 25-0, in a CACC game on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rams dominated from the opening draw, netting 12 in the first quarter. Jefferson had a stretch of 10 goals in a six-minute span during the period. Seven different players scored during the frame, led by
Ellie Lefton with three tallies. The Rams added five in the second, three in the third, and five in the fourth.
