LAKELAND, Fla. – The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team (10-3) was edged by 20
th-ranked Florida Southern (11-3), 4-3, on Wednesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Mocs' nationally-ranked first doubles team earned the win at the top spot before
Hannibal Borg and
Elliot Jarosz evened doubles play with a 6-2 victory at the second position. Florida Southern earned the doubles points with a 6-2 decision in the third flight.
The Mocs took a 2-0 lead with a win at third singles. Jarosz got the Rams on the board with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at the sixth spot. However, Florida Southern came back with victories at second and first singles to clinch the match.
