Yeager, Callahan, And Sullivan Recognized with D2CCA All-Region Honors
QUEENS, N.Y. – Thomas Jefferson University's
Carly Yeager,
Alexa Callahan, and
Devin Sullivan were selected to the D2CCA Women's Soccer All-East Region Teams, the Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced this Tuesday. Yeager was named to the First Team while Callahan and Sullivan earned Second Team honors.
Yeager was the 2023 CACC Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the All-CACC First Team. She helped the Ram's defense that only allowed 1.12 goals-per-game and only 10.1 shots-per-game as well, advancing to the CACC Championship Quarterfinals and making it into the NCAA Tournament.
Callahan was the 2023 CACC Rookie of the Year and a member of the All-CACC First Team. She lead the team with 11 goals and 22 points on the year. Callahan is tied for 33
th in the nation in goals-per-game and tied for 36
th in total goals.
Sullivan was named to the 2023 All-CACC First Team for the third time in her career and in a row. She ranks first on the team in assists (8), second in goals (6), and second in points (30). Sullivan has had two multi-assist games this season (2 vs Post; 2 vs St. Thomas Aquinas). This is her second time making the D2CCA All-Region Team, as she was First Team in 2021.
All three women helped Jefferson make their fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
