Thomas Wins His 10th CACC Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year Award

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's cross country coach Dave Thomas was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year as announced by the conference on October 30.
 
This is coach Thomas' 10th women's coach of the Year award and 14th overall in his career between both men's and women's. Thomas has coached the women's cross country team since 2006, where he has won 13 CACC Conference titles, with a top-5 team finish for every conference race the women have participated in and at least a top-8 runner each season.
 
Thomas has had 13 NCAA All-East Region runners, two NCAA Individual Qualifiers, four CACC Runner of the Year winners alongside eight runners being named CACC Rookie of the Year. He has also coached one CACC Hall of Famer (Sarah Simonetti '23) during his tenure with the Rams.
