BRIDGEPORT, CT. - No. 5 seed Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team (9-9) came into the CACC Championship Semi-Final looking to make their fourth conference final appearance in school history, but would ultimately fall to No. 1 seed Post University 5-0 in Friday afternoon action.

WHAT HAPPENED
Post started the game with a goal at the 9th minute when Manuel Rivola passed the ball right in front of the goal to Aritz Uriate as he went right down and kicked the ball into the net, putting the Eagles up 1-0. Post would add another goal as Markus Tunge made his header from a Andrea Berti corner kick, pushing their lead to 2-0.

The Eagles would add one more goal from another corner kick as Berti kicked it to Uriate, allowing him to hit the second header goal for Post and make the game 3-0 at the 36th minute. They would head into halftime with that 3-0 lead.

The second half needed the Rams to make some momentum go in their favor to get back in this match, but Post would keep their foot on the pedal. Felipe Garcia received a Francisco Sousa corner and headed the ball into the net at the 65th minute to make it 4-0 for the Eagles. Sousa would finish the match with one more goal at the 73rd minute as the Rams blocked the shot, but the deflection fell into the net as it made the game 5-0 which Post would hold onto the end of the game.
