Women's Soccer Earns 1-0 Win at Goldey-Beacom
WILMINGTON, DE. - Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer (8-2-2, 6-0-1) has continued to stay unbeaten in conference play as they went on the road and earned a 1-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win over Goldey-Beacom College (2-5-6, 2-3-3) in Tuesday afternoon competition.
WHAT HAPPENED
The Rams would have control of the first half, allowing only one shot by the Lightning as they took six in the first half. Goldey-Beacom would keep Jefferson outside of the net, having three saves to go into the break still scoreless.
The second half would continue the same thing, as the Lightning had two shots while the Rams had seven. Nearing the end of the period, Devin Sullivan took a pass from Nikki Dedes and made her shot at the 83rd minute, giving her the game-winning goal and earn the 1-0 win.
