OCEANSIDE, N.Y. - The Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss in its season opener at Adelphi on Saturday.
 
The Panthers took two of three matches to claim the doubles point. Adelphi then won at second, third, and fourth singles to clinch the victory. The Rams took two of the final three singles bouts.
