EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - TJ Hibsman netted the game-winning goal 2:48 into the first overtime period to give the Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team (1-1) a 2-1 road victory at East Stroudsburg on Saturday.

GAMEPLAY
The Warriors swarmed the Rams' defense in the opening minutes, getting off six shots in a five-minute span. The persistence paid off as ESU potted the first goal of the contest in the 11
th minute. Jefferson had an opportunity ring off the post in the 20
th minute, keeping it a one-goal Warriors' lead. Both goalkeepers were busy in the first half, combining for seven saves and East Stroudsburg maintained the one-goal advantage into the intermission.

The Rams found the equalizer on their first shot of the second period, with
Michele Ganz scoring off of a feed by
Mohamed Jawara in the 51
st minute. Jefferson continued to pressure throughout the half, forcing the ESU goalkeeper to make three saves. On the other end, the Rams' defense stifled scoring opportunities for the home team, blocking six shots in the period. Neither team managed a go-ahead goal, forcing overtime.

In the extra session, both squads missed high with a shot before Jefferson created another opportunity.
Mateo Infante corralled the ball after a botched clearing attempt and sent it ahead, forcing the Warriors' keeper to come out and make a play in front of a charging
Mohamed Jawara. The goalie went into a slide and knocked the ball away but it went right to the foot of
TJ Hibsman, who calmly kicked it into the goal from 15 yards out for the winner.
