PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse team dominated the final 11 minutes of play, scoring six straight goals and not allowing visiting Wilmington a sustained possession in a 15-10 win over the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Rams improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the CACC.

Wilmington jumped out to a 3-1 lead over the opening 11 minutes.
Camryn Sullivan and
Erin Campbell scored for Jefferson to even the score at three with 9:21 on the clock. The teams traded two goals apiece before
Kanha Stockford gave the Rams the lead with 48 seconds left before halftime.

In the second, the Wildcats nabbed the first two goals to go ahead, 7-6. Campbell picked up her fourth of the game to tie it and
Erin Eckert hit the back of the net for an 8-7 Jefferson advantage (17:44). With the Rams up 9-8, Wilmington netted back-to-back goals to take a 10-9 edge with 11:06 remaining.

On the ensuing draw, the Wildcats gained control but quickly turned it over to Jefferson. The Rams then proceeded to take over, with
Ellie Lefton setting up
Carina Raymond for the tying goal (10:10). Eckert won the draw and Stockford scored on a free position shot to put Jefferson in front (8:42). The Rams continued to dominate and tallied four more goals to pull away in the final minutes.

Jefferson finished with a 38-17 advantage in shots and was 12-for-15 on clears. The Rams picked up 26 ground balls and controlled 18 draws.
