WILMINGTON, Del. - The second-seeded Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis team (8-5) came up short in the CACC final on Saturday, succumbing to top-seeded Wilmington (Del.), 4-0.

It is the Wildcats' first CACC title in the sport of women's tennis and they also receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament in the spring.

Wilmington earned victories at second and third doubles to capture the first point of the match. The Wildcats then swept fourth, fifth, and sixth singles to clinch the championship.
