Tennis falls to District of Columbia 8-1

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia University men's tennis team fell short in an 8-1 loss to the University of the District of Columbia in a non-conference match on Friday at the Legacy Youth Tennis Education Center.

Philadelphia (3-6) got off to a slow start, dropping all three of its doubles matches.

Jacobo Atri improved to 7-0 overall as he picked up the Rams' lone of the day with a straight set 6-1, 6-4 victory over Alexis Baguelin in the No. 4 match.

Philadelphia returns to action against Temple at the Legacy Youth Tennis Center on Tuesday, March 29 at 10 a.m.
