Box Score

NYACK, N.Y. – Liz Mower (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) recorded a career-high 12 points (seven goals, five assists) to lead the Philadelphia University women's lacrosse team to a 24-12 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory at Nyack in its regular season finale Saturday afternoon.

Philadelphia completes the season with a 9-7 overall record, 6-2 against the CACC. The Rams, the defending CACC champion, will be the three seed in the CACC Tournament and face six seed Dominican (N.Y.) in the first round on Tuesday, April 21 at 4 p.m. on Ravenhill Field.

Mower, who picked up her 200th career point on Thursday night, had four goals and two assists in the second half to help the Rams outscore the Warriors 15-3 in the second half.

Victoria Lopez-Nash briefly stopped the Rams' momentum, scoring, with an assist from Walborn, at the 19:33 mark to make the score 16-12. Philadelphia was unfazed by the goal and scored five in a row—from five different scorers—in a 4:16 span to push the lead up to 21-11.

Etter found of the back of the net with 3:02 to play to cap a run of three straight goals, after a Lauren Lebo tally, and give Philadelphia a match-high 12-goal cushion.

It was a different story in the opening half as the two times were tied seven times. The Rams owned a pair of two-goal leads, 2-0 and 5-3. Nyack (3-12, 1-7 CACC) used a 3-1 surge, including two Lebo goals, to take its first lead of the contest, 8-7 with 5:38 left in the half. Seitzinger scored with four seconds remaining on the first half clock to tie the score at nine.

Elizabeth Marrosu (Flemington, N.J./Immaculata) scored four of her five goals in the opening half. Marrosu's final goal in the first 30, coming with 7:40 to go, was her 100th career point.

Avanzato finished the contest with three goals and two assists, while Seitzinger picked up three goals and one assist.
