Men's tennis concludes regular season with 8-1 to Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia University men's tennis team wrapped up its regular season with an 8-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss to visiting Chestnut Hill Tuesday afternoon on the Abraham Salaman Tennis Courts.

Philadelphia ends the season with a 10-11 overall record and a 3-3 CACC record. The Rams qualified for the CACC Championship Tournament as the four seed, and will face top seed Concordia in the semifinal round on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at Chestnut Hill College.

Chestnut Hill is 14-7, overall, 5-1 in CACC play.

Nicolas Affolter (Freienbach, Switzerland/Kantonsschule Ausserschwz) earned Philadelphia's lone point with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Michael Humes in the No. 2 singles match. Affolter leads the team with 14 singles victories.
