Men's tennis ends fall with 7-1 loss to Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia University men's tennis team was defeated by visiting Chestnut Hill 7-1 in the Rams' final match of the fall schedule Tuesday afternoon on the Abraham Salaman Tennis Courts.

Philadelphia wraps up the fall with a 1-3 record, while Chestnut Hill goes to 2-0.

Jacobo Atri (Mexico City, Mexico/Colegio Hebreo Monte Sinai, AC) scored Philadelphia's lone point with a hard fought 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 victory in his No. 4 singles match against Daniel Awad. Atri ends the fall with a 3-0 singles record.

The sun kept Luis Molina Megias from getting into the win column. Molina Megias was leading Pedro Regalin 7-6 (7-4), 5-2 when the match was called because of darkness.
