Men's tennis falls to USciences in CACC match 8-1

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia University men's tennis was upended by visiting USciences in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match, 8-1, on the Abraham Salaman Tennis Courts Saturday afternoon.

The Rams fall to 3-8 overall, 0-2 in the CACC. USciences goes to 6-3 overall and 2-1 against the conference.

Philadelphia earned its lone point of the afternoon in the number two doubles match. The team of senior Ayman Barakat (Kharkiv, Ukraine/Kharkiv Specialized English School #3) and junior Nail Rachidi (Meknes, Morocco/Emile Anouar) defeated the Devils' Will Metz and Julian Katzev, 8-4. It was the tandem's first win of the season.

The Rams return to the court for a non-conference match at Cabrini on Wednesday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m.
