Box Score

PHILADELPHIA – Junior guard Monica Schacker (Doylestown, Pa./Germantown Academy) and sophomore forward Tori Arnao (Newtown, Pa./Archbishop Wood) both scored 17 points to lead the Philadelphia University women's basketball team to a 94-67 Senior Day triumph over visiting Concordia (N.Y.) Saturday afternoon in the Gallagher Center.

The Rams (19-6, 17-1 CACC) honored seniors Megan Finn (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley), Samantha Morris (Wenonah, N.J/Deptford), Courtney Overholt (Centreville, Va./Flint Hill), and Jaclyn Panichi (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) in a pre-game ceremony.

Junior guard Najah Jacobs (Philadelphia, Pa./Central) tallied 13 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Sophomore guard Bria Young (Philadelphia, Pa./Prep Charter) and Finn netted 10 points each. Overholt and Panichi contributed eight points apiece.

Concordia (0-25, 0-18 CACC) got the first basket of the contest 58 seconds in on an Alyssa Dawson jumper to take a 2-0 lead. The lead would be short lived as Arnao converted a three-point play on Philadelphia's next trip down the court to put the Rams up 3-2. Philadelphia would not trail again.

The Clippers got as close as 44-33 on a Jessica Rosalbo layup with 37 seconds to play in the opening half.

Philadelphia worked the lead up to 20 (58-38) when Arnao connected on a jumper 4:54 into the second half. A 12-2 Ram run allowed the team to take a 71-42 left when Schacker buried a 3-pointer with 10:46 to play.

Mariah Berry and Megan Burns paced the Clippers with 13 points each. Rosalbo had 12 points, while Dawson and Tara-Ann Rock poured in 10.

Philadelphia shot 54.1 percent (33-of-61) from the floor, 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from 3-point range. Concordia hit at a 32.8 percent (20-of-61) clip overall, 36.8 percent (7-of-19) from behind the arc.

The Rams owned a 45-32 rebounding advantage.
