Garden City, NY- The Philadelphia University women's lacrosse team (0-1) dropped their season-opener 25-3 at Adelphi University (2-0) on Saturday afternoon. 

PhilaU goals were scored by three juniors: Kalin Hodel, Taylor Peltzer and Andrea Saracco. 

AU led 17-3 at the break and went on to score eight unanswered ticks in the second half.  The Panthers were led by Erica Devito and Devan Crimi with five goals each. 

PhilaU goalie Cory Lombardo played all 60 minutes and had five saves for the Rams.
