Rams Hand Georgian Court 76-52 Loss in CACC Victory

Lakewood, NJ- The Philadelphia University Rams (11-8, 7-5 CACC) picked up a conference road win 76-52 at Georgian Court University (0-21, 0-14 CACC) on Thursday night at the GCU Wellness Center.  PhilaU had four starters in double digits, including team high scorer senior guard Taylor Magnus with 15 points and three rebounds.

The Rams executed the game plan in outshooting GCU 39%-36% and held a positive assist/turnover ration (18/8).

PhilaU junior guard Stephanie Agger chipped in 14 points along with a team-high eight rebounds on the night, while junior forward Christine Wooding added 12 points and eight boards.

GCU was led by the game's high scorer, Brittany Baker with 17 points, seven rebounds.

PhilaU scored an even 38 points in each half, up 38-23 at the break.

The visiting Rams also had a solid outing from sophomore forward Kristen Blye, who notched 10 points and four boards.

Next up for Shirley's squad will be the Caldwell College Cougars at home on Saturday (2/5) at 4 p.m., as they play after the men's game at 2 p.m.
