WLax Takes 15-8 Win at Wilmington

New Castle, DE- The Philadelphia University women's lacrosse team (4-3, 4-0 CACC) picked up a 15-8 win at Wilmington University on Thursday afternoon.

The win improves the Lady Rams to a perfect 4-0 in the conference.  

The Lady Rams were led by senior Kathleen Maurer's (Rochester, NY/ Our Lady of Mercy) eight points, including the game-winner at 23:16 in the first half on an assist from fellow senior Lauren Woodie (Monmouth Beach, NJ/ Shore). 

Two other PhilaU players racked up four points on the day including sophomores Taylor Peltzer (Holland, PA/ Archbishop Wood) and Caribeth Shappell (Lancaster, PA/ Cocalico). 

PhilaU senior goalie Kat Sullivan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/ Lenape) recorded 11 saves in goal for the Lady Rams. 

The team returns to action for Senior Day (Saturday, 4/3) at 1 p.m. vs. Post University at Ravenhill Field.
