HFU Sinks Women's Soccer 1-0

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women's soccer team (9-6-3, 9-3 CACC) came up short in their final regular-season game, a 1-0 loss at Holy Family University (11-5-1, 8-3-1 CACC) on Thursday afternoon.

The game-winner, scored by Amanda Trabosh in the 69th minute (second half), put the Rams in a deficit they couldn't find their way out of.  PhilaU was outshot 9-7 and trailed 5-3 in corner kicks.

The Ram's sophomore goalie, Kelli Kowalewski made three saves while HFU's Gina Mansi made five stops for the Tigers.

PhilaU has secured the #3 seed in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) quarterfinals, and will host Dominican College on Monday (11/1) at 2 p.m. at Ravenhill Field to begin the postseason.
