Lakewood, NJ- The Philadelphia University
women's soccer team (6-4-3, 6-2 CACC) overpowered the
Georgian Court University Lions (6-5-2, 5-3-1 CACC) 3-0 on Tuesday
afternoon. PhilaU junior captain Gabrielle
Haden had two goals, including the game-winner.
Haden's game-clincher came at 23:56 on a cross from senior
defender Erin Walter to put the Ram's up
1-0.
In the second half, Haden came up again at 75:20 on a breakaway
pass from sophomore forward Trisha Sileo.
Sileo went onto score at 88:20 on a pass from freshman defender
Nicole Van Bourgondien.
PhilaU sophomore goalie Kelli Kowalewski had
four saves in net, while GCU's Shealyn Sullivan made seven
stops for the Lions.
PhilaU heads back to the pitch on Saturday (10/16) at Bloomfield
College at 11 a.m.
