Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia Lady Rams (6-7, 4-1 CACC) suffered their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss in a 95-61 pounding by the Felician College Falcons (8-3, 3-1 CACC) on Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Rams got a team-high 13 points from senior center Jessica Romano (Horsham, PA/ Hatboro-Horsham), along with seven rebounds.

FC was led by Quay Baskerville's game-high double-double (20 points, 10 rebounds).

A bright spot for PhilaU was four starters in double-digits, including freshman forward Taylor Peltzer (Holland, PA/ Archbishop Wood) who nailed a trey at the 8:01 mark in the first half to cut the FC lead to 29-7.  Pelzter had 12 points and a steal on the night.

The Falcons led 50-25 at the break.

In the second half, FC kept the pressure on from downtown, as Janelle Biamonte and Baskerville each notched a three-pointer to push their lead to 56-26 at 18:24.

PhilaU senior forward Kate Brennan (Stratford, NJ/ Sterling) swooshed a three at 18:01 to give the Lady Rams some fire, but FC continued to dominate the floor, leading by a game-high 40 points (88-48) at the 3:36 mark.  Brennan contributed 12 points and four steals for PhilaU.

PhilaU sophomore forward Christine Wooding (Northfield, NJ/ Mainland) chipped in six points in the final minute of play and finished with 10 points for the Lady Rams, but FC was too much as they pulled out the 95-61 win.

PhilaU will get nearly two weeks off, taking on Holy Family University on Thursday (1/21) at 6 p.m. in the Gallagher Athletic Center in their next contest.
