Amanda Brennan (Stratford, NJ/ Sterling) had a
career and game-high 24 points as she led the Philadelphia
University Lady Rams (3-3, 1-0 CACC) to a 73-69 CACC opening win
over Felician College (1-6, 0-2 CACC) on Saturday
afternoon.
The Lady Rams led 25-19 at the half, netting 4-9 three-pointers
in the first half alone. The maroon and gray finished the
night shooting 47% from field goal range, and 54% from beyond the
arc.
Junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/
Hatboro-Horsham) added 21 points and nine rebounds for PhilaU,
while fellow junior Kate Brennan (Stratford, NJ/
Sterling) had 17 points and five boards.
Felician turned the ball over 17 times, and were held to just
41% shooting from the floor. FC was led by Janelle Biamonte
with 19 points and six rebounds.
The Lady Rams return to action on Tuesday, December
9th for a 6:00 pm contest vs. Lincoln University.
