Women's Soccer Claims Another Win Against Caldwell University  

CALDWELL, NJ - Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer (13-1-2) (10-0) competed against Caldwell University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action on Saturday, November 2. The match ended with the Rams on top 1-0.  

WHAT HAPPENED 

• Mia Ferrara kicks off the first half with a shot on goal that's saved by Ariana Gaminara  

• Avery Nogami also joining the action early on takes two shots that are unfortunately blocked by Caldwell 

• The Rams defense holds strong as the Cougars are unable to get a shot on goal for almost the entire first half  

• The Rams played with aggressive offense the entire first half, with Gianna Garozzo taking a final shot on goal that was saved by Caldwell defender Ayla Fraser 

• Looking to get involved early in the second half, Melissa Pires takes a shot on goal, but Liv Riddel is ready for the save  

• Again, from the Cougars, Taina Gervais takes a shot that's missed high looking to generate some momentum  

• The Rams respond with a goal scored by Nikki Dedes at the 51:44 minute giving the Rams a 1-0 lead over the Cougars  

• Abby Lytle still looking for more success takes a shot on goal, but Gaminara claims another save  

• Lytle takes one more shot that gets blocked before Jefferson claims the 1-0 victory at the end of the second half 

SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENTS 

• The team overall has now beaten the school record of 19 consecutive unbeaten conference matches, claiming their 20th victory on Saturday, November 2.   

• With Jefferson being ranked 1st, and Caldwell being ranked 2nd in the CACC standings, with the Rams victory today they win the regular season title for the 2024-25 season
