PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer team (8-3-1, 7-1-0 CACC) upped its win streak to four with a 2-0 shutout of Chestnut Hill at Ravenhill Field on Wednesday.
GAMEPLAY
The Rams dominated the contest, outshooting the Griffins 19-4, and they did not allow a shot on goal. Jefferson also racked up 10 corner kicks. The Rams' first tally came in the 37
th minute as
Carly Reighard jumped on a loose ball just outside the box and booted it into the left side of the cage. Jefferson added an insurance goal in the 53
rd minute.
Devin Sullivan tapped the ball back to
Laural Erick who crossed over to
Hannah Potocki. Potocki beat the goalkeeper to the left side for her second goal of the year.

CACC PLAYOFF PICTURE
With three games remaining in the regular season, the Rams currently sit in second place in the CACC standings. Jefferson has clinched a spot in the CACC Tournament and can finish no lower than the fifth seed at this point. The Rams look to secure a place in the top four down the stretch and assure themselves of a home game for the quarterfinals.
