Top Two CACC South Volleyball Teams Meet Again on Thursday

PHILADELPHIA
– The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) volleyball team will travel up Roosevelt Boulevard to compete with the Holy Family Tigers on Thursday, Nov. 2. The match will begin at 6 p.m.

LAST SET
The Jefferson Rams were able to complete a sweep against Chestnut Hill College. With this win the team was able to protect their first-place rank within the conference. Almost perfect, their CACC record is 15-1. Two players, Corinne Justus and Courtney Wensel, had a match-high of 15 kills. Caitlin Crespo executed 21 digs. Alexandra Harrington orchestrated 42 assists in the win. 

LOOKING AT HOLY FAMILY
In hot pursuit, the Lions are second in the CACC South division. Their in-conference record is 13-3 and the team is in the midst of an eight-match win streak. In a close match with Georgian Court Holy Family won 3-2. The Lions were led by Chase Wassel and her 18 kills and 21 digs. Natalie Stewart finished the match with 49 assists.
