Three Women's Soccer Players Chosen to D2CCA All-East Region Team

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer team had three players named to the D2CCA All-East Region Team on Wednesday.

Graduate student Erin Tinneny, senior MaryKate Ulmer and freshman Payton Cole were all selected to the All-Region second team.

Tinneny led the conference in goals against average (0.57), save percentage (.857), shutouts (7) and wins (12). She has 48 saves on the season. Tinneny has conceded a goal in just four of her 16 games in the net. The grad student was named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Year and to the All-CACC first team.

Ulmer is first on the squad with 14 goals and second with 31 points. She also has three assists on the campaign. The senior is fifth in the CACC in goals and sixth in points. Ulmer has four multi-goal games and was a two-time CACC Player of the Week. She was an All-CACC first team selection.

Cole has been the leader of the Rams' back line this season, frequently marking the opponent's top attacker. She is part of a defensive unit that has surrendered just 16 goals in 20 games. Jefferson has a 0.80 goals against average and 11 shutouts on the year. The Rams had a shutout streak of 455:22 at one point. Cole earned CACC Defensive Player of the Week honors one time and was chosen to the All-CACC first team.

The Rams captured their fourth CACC Championship. All three players were named to the All-Tournament Team with Tinneny garnering MVP honors.
