Katie Neveil Named CACC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Third Time

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Katie Neveil of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's soccer team was named the CACC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office Tuesday morning.

KATIE NEVEIL – CACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Having won the award previously on Sept. 25 and Oct. 15, Neveil was named the conference's defensive player of the week for the second-straight week and third time this season. As the centerback, Neveil anchored two of the squad's conference shutouts last week over Chestnut Hill, 5-0, and Concordia, 2-0. The Rams' win at Concordia came as the team's third-straight conference shutouts. The women closed their CACC schedule with a 5-0-1 record over their final six conference matches with included four shutout victories.
