Rocha Repeats to the All-CACC Men’s Soccer First Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior midfielder Jason Rocha of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's soccer team was named to the 2018 All-CACC First Team on Monday morning. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.

JASON ROCHA – ALL-CACC FIRST TEAM
For the second-straight year, Rocha represents the Rams on the All-CACC First Team. After being named to the 2017 all-conference first team and 2017 D2CCA All-East Region Second Team, the senior midfielder continued his offensive display of power in 2018 to earn recognition in his final year with Jefferson. Rocha led the Rams with 13 goals and 31 points while adding five assists in 2018. His 44 shots and 31 shots on target also topped the squad. The senior converted a perfect 3-for-3 on penalty kicks and scored four game-winning goals. Overall his 13 goals placed him second in the conference while 10 of his goals came during league play, which also ranked second in the CACC. Rocha was named the CACC Player of the Week back on Sept. 10 and three times to the weekly conference honor roll (Sept. 18, Sept. 25, Oct. 8).
