PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) baseball team (7-16) lost a non-conference game versus East Stroudsburg (16-6), 24-6 on Thursday.
The Rams took a 2-0 lead in the first on an RBI double by senior Michael Taffe and a run-scoring single by sophomore Cole Kriger. The Warriors went ahead with a seven-run second and never looked back.
Jefferson pushed across four more runs, scoring one in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the ninth. Sophomore Jabari Cox came home on a wild pitch, Taffe drove in another run on a groundout, Kriger hit another RBI single and sophomore CJ Goodz smacked an RBI triple to right center.
The Rams return to CACC play when they welcome USciences to East Falls on Friday, March 29 at 12 p.m.
