Men's Soccer Season Ends in CACC Quarterfinals
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer (6-8-4) hosted their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) postseason contest since 2018 as they went up against Holy Family University (7-8-3). The Rams had a close contest but a goal at the 85th minute dropped them 1-0 to the Tigers in Sunday afternoon action.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The match was a defensive battle, with 17 total shots being taken between both teams with seven being on shot
- A bounce free kick allowed Jesus Gonzalez to make his kick at the top left of the net and give Holy Family the 1-0 win
