PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer team (1-3) was defeated by host Pace (2-1-2) in a non-conference contest on Wednesday evening.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Nikki Dedes recorded her team-leading third goal of the campaign in the 13^th minute to put the Rams in front. She picked up a loose ball in the middle and sent a soaring shot over the goalkeeper into the upper left corner from 25 yards out. Jefferson had a flurry of shots with a corner kick mixed in following the goal but it remained a one-goal game.
 
The Setters potted the equalizer in the 27^th minute. Following the tally, the Rams had a corner kick and a shot that was stopped by the goalie so the score remained level. Pace then went in front, 2-1, in the 40^th minute. In the second half, Jefferson registered five shots with four of them being on target. However, the Setters' keeper turned everything away and the Setters held on for the victory.

- It was the first meeting between Jefferson and Pace since 2005 and the Setters improved to 2-0 in the series.
- Jefferson dropped back-to-back games for the first time since September 5^th and 15^th of 2021.
