Box Score PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's basketball team (11-7, 6-1 CACC) defeated the Nyack Warriors (2-12, 2-5 CACC) in a conference matchup on Wednesday evening from the Gallagher Center by a final of 89-68.
On the night, the Rams shot 68.1% from the floor and made 14-of-21 three-pointers, both season highs.
Freshman Alexander Gorton led all scorers with 25 in the victory on 8-of-12 shooting including 6-of-8 from three-point range.
Senior Kaison Randolph scored 23 points on the night with 10 rebounds and six assists. The senior shot 8-of-13 from the floor including 4-of-7 from deep.
Sophomore Josh Bradanese notched 17 points on the night with three blocks.
Sophomore Kylan Guerra recorded a double-double behind 11 points on 4-of-4 shooting and a career-high 10 assists.
The men were up big at halftime, 49-30, as the team shot 70.4% from the floor (19-of-27). Randolph (17), Gorton (14) and Bradanese (11) were all in double figures after the opening period, going 16-of-22 from the floor as a group with nine made three-pointers.
The Rams hit 10-of-14 three-pointers in the first half which helped take the lead up to 19.
Jefferson stayed hot in the second half, shooting 13-of-20 as a team for 65.0%.
Early in the second half, Jefferson took its largest lead of the night (23) with 15:21 to play. In total, the squad led for 33:34 of 40 minutes in the victory.
