Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University Rams (18-5, 10-2 CACC) handed the University of the Sciences Devils (7-17, 5-8 CACC) a 61-37 home court lashing at the Gallagher Athletic Center on Thursday night.  Junior guard Russell Frederick (Baltimore, MD/ Calvert Hall) scored his 1,000th career point en route to a game-high 15 points and five boards.

The Rams never trailed as they outshot the Devils (46%-27%), and turned the ball over less (9-14).

PhilaU jumped out to an early 13-2 lead in the first half, capped by a layup and made free-throw from junior forward Malcolm Ingram (Philadelphia, PA/ Solebury Prep).  Ingram had 13 points, 10 boards and three assists on the night.

USP's Adewale Adefemi would get his team within four (13-9) on a layup at 13:28, but PhilaU senior guard Mike Dunn (Harrisburg, PA/ Central Dauphin) nailed one of his-count them- three treys to give the Rams a double-digit lead they would only build upon.  Dunn had nine points and four rebounds in the contest.

PhilaU went on a 9-4 run to close out the half, leading 35-15.

The Rams continued to be dominant in the second stanza as a dunk by junior forward Mike Yocum (Dresher, PA/ Episcopal Academy) at 1:27 put the icing on the cake to give the Rams a 61-37 win over the Devils.

PhilaU will host their final regular-season home game on Saturday (2/14) at 4 p.m.  Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness at the game.
